Eagles Victory Against Bosnia Excites PH Fans
Super Eagles 2-1 victory
against Bosina Herzegovina in group F stage of the on-going 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil has continued to raise reactions.
Immediately after the victory the Rivers State Football Coach, Tony Chuku said “It is not ideal to write off a team when a competition is yet to begin. All the teams at the world cup are there because they are qualified to be there and they are there to win the trophy.
He told Tidesports that the Eagles have done well and I know that the Eagles would qualify from the group stage to win the competition, all they need is the support of Nigerians to cheer them to victory.
Also speaking the representative of the Real Club Deportivo (RCD) Espanyol in Nigeria, Stanley Wariso, said that the Super Eagles of Nigeria is now seen as a threat to their opponents.
He also hoped that the teams would go all the way to qualify from their group and win the cup. There performance was great they did real good and I am confident that they would do us proud. In his view the team manager of Holands FC Miebaka Martins believes that the Eagles would go far in this championship, their performance with Bosnia was fantastic, different from the Eagles, we have seen, I think they will succeed in the world cup.
