Chibok Girls: Consider Swap Option Now, FG Told
The President, Eclectic Network, Rev. Moses Iloh, has advised the Federal Government to consider the proposal of the Boko Haram sect for swapping of the kidnapped Chibok girls for its members in the custody of security agencies.
Over 200 girls of the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State are being held in captivity since April 14, 2014.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos, Iloh said that the country was subjected to “divided attacks”, including falsehood, confusion and terror, which are fashioned against the defenseless and oppressed citizens.
He lamented that most Nigerians in power do not have the will power to confront the insurgency because they are rarely affect by the menace.
Calling for fervent and unrelenting prayers to save the nation, the cleric identified corruption as the greatest problem facing the nation.
Iloh advised the country’s leaders as well as the people to jointly tackle the problem he observed has brought Nigeria to ridicule before the international community.
