Old Boys To Partner Association On Dev
The Co-ordinator, County Grammar School, Ikwerre /Etche old boys Class, 1976, Hon Vincent Erinwo, has pledged the support of the set to the national body for national development.
The co-ordinator, who was speaking during the re-union assembly last quarter/end-of-year event at Elele said the national body was aware of activities of the ’76 class and has always hoped that such activities were replicated in the national.
He said the ’76 class has assured in several fora to the national president that all that was done by the ’76 class would be channelled to the national.
He said this was intended to inject fresh blood into the national body even as he said within the last 12 months, the 76 class had been active in activities concerning its members.
Hon. Erinwo further said the year has been remarkable as a number of old boys has come to identity with the re-union assembly.
“The response from members has been encouraging and over whelming, even those who cannot find time to attend the quarterly meetings maintain contact with the Exco” he said.
He called on members of the ’76 class to be the pivot on which the national activities revolves.
Responding, Hon, Justice Godpower Agunma of the Rivers State Judiciary who hosted the event expressed happiness for members.
“I want to say that I am very happy to see you all today. “We should continue in that spirit to enable us increase to enable our set grow from strength to strength” he said.
