Volleyball coach, Charkuna Ismail, has called on the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVF) to speed up preparations for the Zone 3 Beach volleyball qualifying championship.
The competition has been scheduled to hold in Ghana from Thursday to Saturday.
Ismail told newsmen in an interview in Lagos that early preparation would help to facilitate the teams’ success at the qualifier.
“We are looking at closing the year by doing well in the Zone 3 qualifying event, where we can win a ticket for the World Beach Volleyball Championship.
“The qualifying competition will involve the senior male and the senior female beach volleyball teams.
“Already we have a 4-man standing team that can deliver the goods in Ghana.
