Dana Air Complying With NCAA Audit – Mgt
The Management of
Dana Air has announced that since its operations were suspended on October 6, 2013 by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), it has continued to cooperate with the authority in anticipation to resuming full operations and giving customers outstanding services.
Dana Air which was suspended from flight operations to allow for an operational audit of the airline, stated that it had complied without delay with the authority’s instruction.
“The airline complied without delay. NCAA is still auditing us intensively and we are awaiting their final consideration, closure of the audit and our resumption of flight operations”, the airline management said.
In a statement issued last week by the Chief Executive Officer of Dana Group Mr Jacky Hathiramani, the company said it had gone through series of reforms in order to offer the best for the safety and comfort of its customers.
According to Mr Hathiramani, “since October 6, when NCAA directed the Management of Dana Air to immediately suspend its flight operations to allow for an operational audit of the airline, Dana Air has continued to fully cooperate with NCAA and looks forward to resuming full operations and continuing our customary outstanding services to our guests.
“In the interim, Dana Air has undergone dynamic charges and initiative to better serve the safety and comfort needs of our passengers”.
It was also learnt that Dana Air had appointed Mr Yvan Drewinsky as its chief operating officer. Drewinsky who comes on board with over 30 years of global aviation experience, has the mandate of the board to further sustain standards and quality of service within the airline.
The statement equally noted that Dana Air was investing in vital staff trainings in strict adherence to NCAA, ICAO and IATA standards, even as its flight operations are under suspension.
