Stoke Joins Odemwingie Chase
Stoke City have confirmed their interest in signing Osaze Odemwingie before the close of the summer transfer window.
Mark Hughes is looking to sign two attacking players to bolster the Potters’ frontline, and Odemwingie and Junior Hoilett have been identified as transfer targets.
“It’s difficult to sign players but Mark and the board want to add strength to the squad,” Stoke’s assistant Mark Bowen said. “Junior and Peter [Odemwingie] belong to other clubs, but they are two players we know.
“Peter has got a great record in the Premier League and is proven. He’s had a difficult time but we have the admiration for him as he’s a top player.”
