Ikuru Seeks Church, Govt’s Partnership
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr Tele Ikuru, has called for a robust partnership between the church and government for societal growth and harmony.
Engr. lkuru made the call while declaring open the 32nd Diocesan Synod of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ndoki Circuit Diocese of Port Harcourt, Uruuagbai in Oyigbo Local Government Area of the state.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary in his office, Sir (Evangelist) Eddy Oloko, stressed that partnership between the Church and the government will assure the realisation of set goals and fast-track the delivery of democratic dividends. dividends.
Attributing the successes of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi-led administration in the State to God’s mercies, the Deputy Governor commended administration in the state to God’s mercies, the Deputy Governor commended the Church for its steadfastness and invaluable contributions to the socio- economic development of the state and the nation.

Delivering his sermon, Bishop of the MCN, Diocese of Port Harcourt, Rt.
