RSG Tasks Sharks, Dolphins On NPL Trophy
As the 2012/2013 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season kicks-off on 9th March, 2013, the Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Hon Felix Igwe, has charged the state-owned teams, Sharks and Dolphins FCs to stay focused and determined to lift the trophy.
Igwe gave the charge in a press release made available to Tidesports yesterday in Port Harcourt.
The release which was signed by information officer of the Ministry, Juliana Masi urged the team to put more efforts in their camping to keep the clubs at the top of the competition.
Each clubs should be committed and work as a team to ensure that no point is lost. The government would continue to do their best to ensure that the welfare of the clubs are intact” he advised.
Igwe, however, urged players of both teams to take their training seriously in order to compete favourably when the league commences.
