Enyeama Is Eagles Captain
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has named goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama as stand in captain.
Enyeama will deputise for the injured Joseph Yobo, who has been ruled out of the June fixtures by injury.
The goalkeeper led the players in training early in the week at the University of Calabar mini stadium.
Defender Papa Papa Idris was the only player not fully involved in action as he was still recovering from past knocks. He was, however, able to jog and run around under the supervision of physiotherapist Olawale Oladejo.
The foreign-based professionals who trained are Sone Aluko, Victor Moses, Ikechukwu Uche, Efe Ambrose, Fengor Ogude, Elderson Echejile, Gege Soriola, Ekigho Ehiosun, Ahmed Musa and Enyeama. They were joined by the 12 home-based stars unveiled last weekend and led by Warri Wolves goalie Chigozie Agbim.
Montpellier forward John Utaka and Israel-based goalie Austin Ejide have also joined the camp.
