Party Boss Drums Support For Senatorial Candidate
The people of Rivers East senatorial district, have been urged to troop out enmasse to vote for the Action Alliance Party, candidate, Barrister Chizi Micheal Atata in the forthcoming election tomorrow.
The call was made by the Rivers State party chairman, Hon. Kenneth Okechukwu Atata who described the party as the last hope of the common man in Rivers State.
Describing Barrister Micheal Atata as a dedicated politician who would carry all along in the scheme of things, the party boss noted that the masses would fare better if Barrister Atata is given the mandate.
The party chairman said that the Rivers East senatorial candidate, as a lawyer would give maximum representation to the people at the Senate, adding that with the massive support being recorded by the candidate, victory was certain if the elections are held on free and fair turf.
On the insinuation that Micheal Atata’s senatorial ambition had suffered a setback following the death of the A.A. National Chairman, Senator Suleiman Salawu, the party boss said the development had no detrimental effect, adding that the party lost a true federalist in the demise of Suleiman.
