Practitioners Laud Amaechi’s Primary Healthcare Scheme
The National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria has pledged its support to the state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuke Rotimi Amaechi, for the on-going transformation of the health care delivery system in the state.
The chairman of the association, Mr. Robert Ibiso said this in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt.
Mr. Ibiso particularly lauded the governor for the inauguration if the Rivers State Primary Health care Management Board, stressing that the feat will help to boost healthcare delivery services at the grassroots.
While stressing that the Association is proud to be associated with the management of the board, he urged healthcare providers in the various local government areas to support the present administration in the vision of making healthcare services available to the people of the state.
Also speaking, the Association’s publicity secretary, Mr. Letam Nmeakar said that healthcare practitioners in the state are proud of the vision of the state governor, especially in the healthcare delivery sector of the state. According to him, the vision of the governor in the health sector will provide opportunity for people in the rural areas to access quality healthcare services in their respective communities.
