Tennis: Expect Keen Competition – Harry
Chairman Rivers Tennis Association, Tonye Harry, says there will be keen competition for medals in the tennis event at the on-going National Sports Festival during an interaction at the Port Harcourt Tennis Club, venue of the event.
The Vice President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation said Rivers State athletes were poised to make a total medals sweep in the event.
He enjoined the Federal Government to provide tennis courts round the country in order for the game to be played at grassroots.
Harry also called on sports loving Nigerians to support tennis players in the country and expose the athletes to international circuits.
