Oba Omega Happy Over Rivers Musicians’ Unity
Rivers State born frontline musician, Mr. Emmanuel Amakiri, has lauded the unity that exists amongst musicians in the state, saying that the development marks a new dawn in the development of the music industry.
Mr. Amakiri, popularly called Oba Omega, made the commendation in Port Harcourt when he hosted the executive of the performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Rivers State branch, at Boomerang night club, Rumuogba.
He expressed gratitude to God for the unity in the association under the able leadership of Lekara Mueka, popularly known as lexy M and called on members who had left the association for one reason or the other to return and join in building a new PMAN. He remarked that positive changes have been recorded within the short time of the inception of the new administration.
Oba Omega, alias Krikata Master, however, thanked the state government for carrying along the state musicians in the CARNIRIV, adding that the welcome development has given the artistes a new sense of belonging in the state.
The multiple award winner also lauded the media in the state for identifying with the musicians which has gone a long way in boosting their image within and outside the state.
Oba Omega attributed his success story to God Almighty, hard work and perseverance even as he dedicated the albums to the less privilege in society.
