2011 All Africa Games Nigeria Battles Ghana, Others For Tickets
The African Football Confederation (CAF) has released the fixtures of the 10th All Africa Games to be staged in Maputo in 2011.
This followed a draw held in Cairo on Monday.
The qualifying series would begin in January 2011 and terminate in July 2011, to determine the eight teams for both men and women’s competitions.
The games will hold between September 3 and September 18, 2011.
For the men’s, one team each will qualify from the seven zones to join hosts Mozambique in the final tournament. Mozambique qualifies automatically. Nigeria is in zone three alongside Benin Republic, Ghana and Liberia and will face Liberia first in Monrovia next month.
