Emohua People Hail Amaechi Over Road Projects
The people of Emohua
Local Government Area have lauded the Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, for his landmark achievements, especially on road networks in the area.
This was contained in a statement signed by Ozaze Obillor and by the king of the area, Eze Oha Vincent Okor during a ceremony in honour of the Governor at Emohua, recently.
Eze Okor said the people of Emohua, which comprises eight communities, are very appreciative of his administration’s pragmatic approach to modern road constructions, hospitals, model schools, the Greater Port Harcourt project among others stressing that they are legacies to be remembered even long after we had left the scene.
He stated that, “in all these projects, you remembered Emohua, we celebrate you, we also appreciate you, we pledge our support and loyalty to your government, Emohua is with you, Emohua is for you.”
In his speech, Governor Amaechi said the only road in Emohua that is not constructed is the Rumuodogo road, as government is owing the contractor, but promised that the three-kilometre road would be constructed before the elections.
“I will drive on that road before election time because I will come back here to ask for your votes,” Governor Amaechi opined.
It would be recalled that during the ceremony, the governor was conferred with the title of “Egwugwu of Emohua, that is the pride of Emohua, while he elevated Eze Vincent Benson Okor from his third class stool to first class monarch.
