Dolphins’ Form, Prospects Excite Eguma
The technical manager of Dolphins FC, of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma has expressed joy over the impressive performances being exhibited by his players this season.
Speaking in an interview with Tidesports midweek in Port Harcourt, Eguma said there has been a rapid improvement in the team, especially in technical aspect of their play.
“I am convinced that there is a tremendous improvement in the team both technically and morally, this is our first season in the Globacom premier league after a very long time and it is encouraging that we are still within the middle of the league table despite our challenges in the first stanza of the season. “ he said.
The technical manager continued that in this second round, the team would put more effort to ensure that they play themselves onto contention in the title race.
“Our game has rapidly improved and the players are more focused, determined and have high sense of direction. Infact the boys (players) impressed me a lot against Zamfara, over the weekend.” Eguma said.
Eguma used the forum to urge supporters and fans to always support the team and shun criticism because unconstructive criticism would not promote development in the team and sports in general in the state.
According to him, what is expected from supporters and fans is to suggest how the club would improve and win trophies.
“My brother, we don’t need to destroy ourselves by criticising unconstructively my doors are open to meaningful suggestions that can improve the club,” said Eguma.
