2015: I ’ll Get PDP ’Guber Ticket -Princewill
The candidate of the defunct Action Congress (AC) in the 2007 Governorship election in Rivers State, Prince Tonye Princewill has vowed not to step down for any person as he is optimistic to grab the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state’s 2015 election.
Princewill, who made this known during a media chat in Port Harcourt, said he either gets the governorship of the state or nothing, stating that he was not interested in any other position.
The former leader of the Action Congress in Rivers State before moving to the (PDP) said, he has concrete plan on what to do if elected the next governor in the state, stressing that he has one agenda which is to create employment for the youths of the state.
The Kalabari-born politician, who after the 2007 election became a philanthropist said, he has constituted an exploratory committee that would advise him, stating that he was ready to abide by the resolutions of the committee for the 2015 election.
‘’ We have people from all strata of society in the committee and I am ready to take their advice because I have life outside politics ’’, he said.
He noted that he was in to politics because he would not like to sit back and watch others take decisions.
Princewill assured that if elected governor of Rivers State, his administration would return peace and prosperity to the state.
‘’Many may laugh at me now, but my emergence as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party will be a miracle”, He recalled that he was called a joker when he entered the race with Chief Sergeant Awuse for ticket of the Action Congress.
