NOA Wants PH Residents To Support Governmnt On Clean Cup
The National Orientation

The Acting State Director of the Agency, Mr Oliver Wollugbom, who said this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, said that the task of maintaining a clean and healthy environment should be a collaborative effort of all residents of the city.

He said that the Agency would embark on sensitisation campaign round the state to enlighten the people on the importance of environmental cleanliness.
Mr Wollugbom also warned the people against building on water right of ways to avoid flooding in the city in view of the approach of the rainy season.
He commended the state Ministry of Environment for its commitment towards regular sanitation exercises in the state.
Also speaking, the state chairman of the Rivers State Special Sanitation Marshalls, Prince Sodum Akiagba, called on residents to cooperate with the government to keep the city clean.
Prince Akiagba said that the sanitation marshalls will soon embarked on the enforcement of sanitation rules and regulations in the city.
