Schools Media Club Harps On Leadership Qualities
The President of Riv
ers State Union of Secondary Schools Media Club, Mr Victor Dominic, has called on members of the union to emulate President Goodluck Jonathan, who was once a unit chairman of the union.
Speaking in an interview with The Tide on Port Harcourt, Mr Dominic also said that the club is now in over 500 secondary schools across the state.
According to him, the 500 schools have been divided into zones to ensure easy coverage of their activities.
Mr Dominic listed the various zones to include: ONELGA, Trans/Amadi, D/Line, Diobu and Town zones, stressing that the mission of the club is “Cultivating Leadership Qualities Among Secondary School Students”.
Part of the activities of the club he explained, was to ensure constant education and enlightenment of members on events across the globe, as well as impress on members the need to see themselves as leaders in their chosen fields of human endeavour.
He said that more students are now beginning to identify with the club and urged for support.
