According to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, Arogbofa’s appointment is with immediate effect.
It said further that the new Chief of Staff had taken up his new post at the Presidential Villa.

“In addition to administrative capabilities and experience garnered from a distinguished career in the Nigerian Army, Arogbofa brings an impressive array of academic qualifications to his new job,” Abati said in the statement.
Arogbofa has a Diploma in Communications Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States.
He also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama, United States.
