Sharks, Zamfara Utd Tango In PH
The Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt will today host another crucial premier league match, as Sharks FC engages Zamfara United in one of the week 14 matches.
Sharks FC considers today’s encounter my important and a must win game to enable them improve their fortunes.
The host is currently at the bottom of the log with only 12 points, after losing to Kwara United of Ilorin 1-0 last weekend.
As it stands now, they need to win at least three straight matches to be out of troubled waters.
Speaking with Tidesports in an interview the media officer of Sharks FC, confidence Idaa, said that the team would definitely win today’s match because the players have declared the fixture a must win.
We are going to win today’s game, we cannot afford to play draw. The three points are very important to us, because it will move us out of the bottom of the league table.” We said.
Idaa, continued that the players have promised themselves that they would not lose any more match, especially at home.
The media officer added that the technical crew had really worked on the players’ technical ability and psychology to ensure that they raise their game subsequently.
However, the visitors have also indicated that they would be in Port Harcourt to try to snatch the maximum points at stake or at worst share points with the hosts to prove that they are no push overs.
According to sources close to Zamfara, Sharks FC is no longer a threat in the premier league, considering the number of points they have dropped at home.
“We, will beat Sharks FC in today’s game, because we have quality players that can do that” the source said.
