The fact that the
relationship between two A-list Nollywood actresses, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji is that of cat and dog is quite obvious.
In the past several fans of the two screen drives had computed among themselves to determine who among them is the number one actress in the make believe industry in Nigeria. It was gathered that in such occasions they had given acting skills to Genevieve, beauty to Omotola and vice versa.
However, a recent report has it that Omotola has edged out Genevieve especially in the International Scene. The report notes that although Genevieve first went on CNN Via Oprah Winfrey show and later African Voices and also mentioned as among the African most influential women in Forbes List.
Omotola’s Listing among the 100 most influential personalities in the world literally by Times Magazene erased Genevieve’s records.
According to the report, only Omotola has in recent time worked on her personal profile, becoming one of the most talked about African showbiz personalities in the continent. She has also made appearances at a few, but very important world showbiz events including the Oscar awards.
