The Tide Editor Tasks Staff On Self Motivation
Harry Ikuroa/Esukpa Ugodu & Maureen Black Reporters and other Editorial Staff of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), publishers of The Tide Newspaper have been tasked to motivate themselves and brace up for the challenges of improving the quality of The Tide Newspaper.
The Editor, Mr Soye Wilson Jamabo, wh said this at a meeting with Editorial staff of the corporation also warned that dive consequences await any staff that fails in his duty.
He said that the department would no longer tolerate vices such as absenteeism, lateness and truancy among staff, stressing that time has come for everyone to put in his best in the service of the government and people of Rivers State.
The Editor however, noted that staff who are working hard to and warned them to avoid being distracted by the activities of a few lazy ones among them.
Jamabo said that the meeting was to interface with them with a view to finding out possible hindrances to goal achievement.
He also advised reporters to cultivate the spirit of competition and excellence, and always ensure that their stories are balanced and written with good measure of professionalism.
