Rivers LGAs Share N2.3bn November Allocation
A total of N2,333,148,832.38 has been released to local government councils in Rivers State as statutory allocation for the month of November, 2009.
Details of the allocation made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt, Tuesday, shows a difference of N87,903,374.66 over that of October 2009.
According to the statement, Abua/Odual Local Government Area got N88,478,590.90, Ahoada East N69,478,628.25, while Ahoada West got a total of N84,862,878.18 as its allocation.
Others include, Akuku Toru N73,939,392.51, Andoni N77,875,141.26, Asari Toru N74,490,004.62, while Bonny LGA got N79,540,678.52.
The rest are, Degema N84,787,165.37, Eleme N80,162,230.79, Emohua N73,145,105.24, Etche N82,397,917.52, Gokana N78,678,293.84, Ikwerre N73,268,662.84, Khana N90,178,476.70 and Obio/Akpor, N109,665,247.70.
Other beneficiaries are Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni N89,368,496.33, Ogu/Bolo N78,305,309.66 Omuma N63,442,893.91, Opobo/Nkoro N71,434,160.88, Oyigbo N63,504,110.38, Port Harcurt City N116,223,048.92 while Tai LGA got N69,695,025.20.
The statement which was signed by the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Dr. T. W. Danagogo said that a total of N92,956,171.22 was made available to the Rivers State local Government pension Board, Rivers State Local Government Service Commission N16,070,092.84, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers N116,691,401.21 while the state Universal Basic Education Board (RSBBEB) got N275,632,559.00
