MD Gets Grand Defender Award
The Association of Unemployed Graduates in Niger Delta has presented the Grand Defender of Unemployed Niger Delta Award to the Executive Officer of Building Concept Limited, Chief Hinks Dumbo.
The President General of the Association, Comrade Mene Dum-Fubara who presented the award on behalf of the Association, said that it was in recognition of Chief Dumbo’s support towards providing skills to youths in the Niger Delta.
Comrade Dum-Fubara said that the gesture was to appreciate his continuous support to the unemployed youths of Niger Delta and Nigeria in general.
Dum-Fubara urged other well meaning individuals and corporate bodies to emulate the gesture of Chief Hinks Dumbo.
Comrade Dum-Fubara further said that the Association had so far trained more than 300 youths of the region in different skills such as mechanical/electrical installations, pipeline welding and fabrication as well as ICT.
Responding, Chief Hinks Dumbo thanked the Association for the award and promised to continue to support the growth and development of the Niger Delta.
Chief Dumbo also urged youths of the region to be peaceful and law abiding, commending the federal and state governments for their youth programme in the Niger Delta.
