Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, has described wife of the Commissioner for Works, Lady Esther Giadom as “an embodiment of a virtuous woman”.

Ikuru stated that the exemplary life style of Lady Giadom has not only impacted positively on her family but in the State, noting that the pride of a good woman is easily seen by her “supportive role to her husband and family”, adding that the height her husband has attended in life cannot be made possible without her unique contributions as a wife, describing her “good helpmate and pillar in the family”.
In his speech, Commissioner for Works and husband to the celebrant, Mr. Victor Giadom, described his wife as the “best gift from God”, attributing his success to her support, stating that “it is a promise I made to my amiable wife to celebrate her on a special day like this, because life they say begins at 40th.
