The Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service yesterday arrested a passenger with $540,000.
The arrest was made while the passenger was about to board Emirates Airlines to Dubai, the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
Mrs Thelma Williams, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Airport command, confirmed this to journalists yesterday.
She identified the passenger as Mr Apampa Adeshina.
