The Conference Committee Chairman, Nigeria Computer Society, Prof. Adesola Aderounmu, has inaugurated the Local Organising Committee for the 2013 NCS International Conference holding in Osun State.
The committee is expected to plan the event. The committee’s inauguration took place at the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Osun State University.

The NCS, in a statement said, “It is a first for the state of Osun. It’s no wonder the LOC expressed both excitement and readiness to handle the event. It is usually a privilege for a state to be given this hosting assignment, which is both a national task and honour.
The state and the LOC are, therefore, expected to fully utilise this opportunity to set new standards for the conference.”
The Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, confirmed the state’s readiness and acceptance to host the NCS conference stating, “The government and wonderful people of Osun State look forward to hosting NCS members and other delegates/resource persons to the 2013 NCS international conference and AGM in Osogbo.”
