Lawmaker Urges Support For Education
The member representing Asari-Toru Constituency 11 in the
Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Godstime Ben Horsfall, has urged the
people of Rivers State to support the state government’s transformational
policy on education.
Speaking during a get-together party of the 1984 set of
Kalabari National College (KANACOL 84) Buguma, Hon. Horsfall said that the present
administration in the state is genuinely out to transform the education sector,
stressing that Kalabari National College (KNC) would not be left out in the
transformational programme.
He also promised to ensure that issues concerning the
college are given adequate attention.
The lawmaker urged members of the association to see
themselves as agents of positive change, stressing that, they must continue to
fly the flag of KNC high wherever they found themselves.
He also thanked them for the brotherly love that exists
among members of the association and urged
it to be sustained.
The Chairman, KANACOL ’84 Mr. Kombo S. West, thanked the
lawmaker for ensuring effective representation, not only for the constituency,
but for the association.
Mr. West said that the association is out to support the
positive administration of Governor
Amaechi and assured of their support to the lawmaker.
