PCRC To Honour King Giniwa
The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Bori Area
Command, Rivers State has concluded plans to honour the Chairman of Rivers
State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, King G. N. K. Giniwa.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the
Command, Hon. Promise Wakama, the ceremony will be held on August 20, 2012 at
the monarch’s palace in Tai local government area.
Hon Wakama said the occasion would afford them the
opportunity of partnering with the Nigeria Police Force in finding solutions to
the increasing crime wave in the area, adding that PCRC stands for service to
humanity.
He said as security is one of the major challenges of the
society, all hands must be on deck to make the communities peaceful and crime
free, and noted that the visit to the Chairman of the State Council of
Traditional Rulers would afford the people and others the opportunity to
appreciate the importance of security.
All Divisional Police Officers in the Area Command, State
PCRC and Area Command Executives and members are expected to attend the epoch
making occasion.
It would be recalled that King Giniwa is the Chairman, PCRC,
Tai Police Division in Tai local government area of Rivers State.
