Stakeholder Hails Fubara Over Ekpeye Chieftaincy Title
A critical stakeholder in Rivers State and elder statesman, Amaopusenibo Kingsley Fubara Hart, has applauded Governor Siminalayi Fubara following the recent chieftaincy title conferred on him by traditional rulers in Ekpeye Kingdom, saying it is a manifestation of the fact that he is acceptable to Rivers people.
Amaopusenibo Hart said the latest honour done to the Governor by the Ekpeye traditional institution deserves accolades and commendation.
The two time House of Representatives aspirant noted that in just one month, Governor Fubara has bagged several traditional titles from different local government areas in the State, an indication that the government of Sir Fubara has been accepted by the people of the State.
He gave this indication while reacting to the latest traditional title bestowed on the Governor by the Ekpeye traditional institution in Ahoada East Local Government Area on Friday.
The revered elder statesman said the plethora of chieftaincy titles coming from different LGAs of the State have portrayed the Governor in good light as a man who came to power to change the narrative.
“ As you can see, the chieftency titles from Ikwerre to Ogoni, Etche, Omuma and now Ekpeye, can only tell you that Governor Fubara is accepted by his people.It tells you that the people of Rivers State and beyond are pleased with his governance. Mind you, our dear Governor did not coerce any of the traditional institutions to give him such titles, rather he sees them as a burden, but since it is genuinely coming from his people as a way to show appreciation for his wonders in Rivers State, he has accepted them in good faith. The crowd at Ahoada during the official commissioning of the Government Girls Secondary School, Ahoada can be described as a home-coming of their beloved Governor.All these are sending strong signals to the opposition that it is over. Governor Fubara has come to stay in Rivers State and the wish of Rivers people must be respected. The trend of politics has changed in Rivers State. The Governor of Rivers State is on ground, providing meaningful and impactful leadership to the people.People are proud of him because he is touching lives, doing things they had never seen in the past eight years. He gave promotions to civil servants and N100,000 Christmas bonus to civil servants regardless of grade level. world-class projects going on across different LGAs of the State, these can only be done by a man who has the people at heart.GovernorFubara has demonstrated his genuine interest and passion in the human and capital development of Rivers State.He deserves the support of all and sundry to achieve more .No doubt, the people are reciprocating. His peaceful disposition has been an added advantage. The Governor has achieved this milestone without making noise about it, being the singular reason people are in love with him. I join thousands of people to salute his doggedness, genuine commitment and passion to salvage Rivers State. The Governor was able to achieve this great milestone because he has listening ears and very accommodating. We will continue to accord him necessary support to surpass previous administrations,” he said.
He commended the efforts of the Governor’s Chief of Staff, describing him as a grassroot politician who has been a pillar to the succceesses recorded by Governor Fubara.
He said the Chief of Staff has shown capacity in his position, hence, the youths are proud of his records.

Forum Expresses Confidence In APC Candidates’ Performance In Rivers
The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress Christian Leaders Forum has expressed strong confidence in the capacity of All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) candidates in the state to deliver effective governance if elected into office in the coming elections.
The State Coordinator of the forum, Archbishop Lucky Aroh, made this known during a breakfast and thanksgiving meeting held in Port Harcourt, where leaders gathered to pray for the stability of the party and the safety of its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.According to him, the meeting was convened to seek divine intervention for peace, unity, and security among APC candidates across Rivers State.
“Today we are praying for APC stability in Rivers State and the security of our candidates that have been elected to contest the 2027 elections. It is a breakfast meeting,” Aroh said.
He further expressed optimism that the party’s candidates would not disappoint the people if entrusted with leadership responsibilities.
“They will not fail when elected into office. We are here as fathers of the land to let them know, and I must tell you the truth that these are the authentic people that will do well in Rivers State,” he added.
Speaking earlier, the National Chairman of the forum, Professor Olanrewaju Abraham, commended the Rivers State chapter for organizing the programme, noting that the national body of the forum believes strongly in the power of prayer.
He stated that political leadership provides an opportunity to influence society positively, including advancing moral and spiritual values, while expressing confidence that APC candidates at all levels would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
Also speaking, the Rivers State Women Leader of the APC, Hon. Darling Amadi, praised the forum for its commitment to prayers for peace, stability, and the protection of party candidates.
Represented by the Deputy Women Leader of the party in the state, she described the initiative as commendable and urged other political and support groups within the party to emulate the gesture in promoting unity and stability.

Fubara Commended For Sustaining Peace In Rivers As Sirawoo Receives Democracy Day Recognition
Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and the Permanent Secretary of the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Kuru Sirawoo, have been honoured with awards of recognition in connection with the 2026 Democracy Day celebrations held in Port Harcourt.
The awards, which formed part of activities marking Nigeria’s Democracy Day on June 12, were formally presented on Tuesday at the Ministry of Information and Communications in Port Harcourt.
Presenting the awards was Hon. Abdul Hameed Oladipupo Alli, popularly known as “Mr. Nigeria,” Publisher of Asiwaju Trumpet Magazine and Achievers World International Magazine.
Governor Fubara was recognised for his efforts in sustaining peace, stability, and a conducive political atmospherJohn Bibor / Menebe Emmanuel / Fortune Paibie in Rivers State. The organisers noted that his administration has fostered harmony and strengthened civic participation across the state.
