Monarch Brokers Peace Among Warring Factions In Usomini Clan
The Oba of Ogbaland in Ogba/ Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Eminence, Barrister Nwachukwu Nnam Obi 111 has brokered peace among the warring factions who are laying claim to the traditional stool of Usomini Clan.
The Oba, who appealed to the people of the clan to give peace a chance during his visit to the clan recently, said peace is a priceless commodity which the inhabitants must embrace for the development of the clan.
The visit was hosted by Obor Community where the monarch’s father had lived with his four sisters before his ascension to the throne in the 1970s.
The Usomini traditional institution, chiefs, elders, women ,CDCs, youths, the political class and all relevant stakeholders trooped out en masse to accord the Oba and his council a rousing welcome.
The Usomini King ,His Majesty Allen expressed gratitude to God for the visit.
Osoh thanked the Oba on behalf of the Usomini Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs for finding time to visit his Kingdom.
Earlier, the Eze Ali Obor, Eze lke George said he was elated over the visit.
The Eze Ali Obor noted that the visit has brought peace in the land, and thanked his subjects for coming out in their numbers to receive the monarch.
Also, the Prince of Obor Community, Prince Ejike Igwe said his joy knew no bounds for witnessing the historic visit.
Prince Igwe thanked the Oba for finding time to visit his people.
The Prince whose late father was King of the Community urged all sons and daughters of the area to work together in the interest of peace.
