Coalition Honours Rivers BoPP Boss With Excellence Award
A socio-political group in Rivers State, the Coalition of Supporters of Democracy and Good Governance has presented an Award of Excellence to the Director General of Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement(BoPP), Dr (Engr) Ine T.E. Briggs, following her outstanding performance as a seasoned public servant.
The group, which presented the award to her during a brief ceremony in Port Harcourt recently, described her as proficient, efficient and excellent in all her dealings as a public servant.
The coalition further indicated that the BoPP boss is among the finest brains recently appointed by the Governor of the State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, who saddled her with the responsibility of discharging a strategic job for the good of the State.
Speaking at the event, the President of the group, Comrade Gashon Bob Achor said the coalition singled out Dr Briggs for the honour because of her enviable track record of performance as a public servant, and poured encomiums on her for making the womenfolk proud.
Achor described her as a dedicated and hard working professional, who discharges her duties with a high sense of responsibility and diligence.
