Mentorship Coach Sensitises Calabar Youths On Right Mindset
The founder of tech organisation, the Guru Innovation Hub, Oyo Effiom, has admonished youths of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State about having the right mindset and positive thinking.
He gave the admonition when he met with a group of community volunteers recently to discuss his ambition for Calabar South and the processes needed for its actualisation.
Members of the volunteer team were specifically residents of Calabar South, as he unraveled his dreams for the local communities.
He said the aim is to lead a political campaign for the sole aim of inspiring and leading the change in the LGA.
The mentorship coach spoke about the uniqueness of the people of the South and how their diverse talents could be harnessed properly to provide resources needed to reduce the high cost of living and invest into projects that have been left unattended by the government.
He admonished the volunteers to look out for fellow youths in their streets and forge an alliance and draw their attention to pressing issues in their streets that could easily be rectified with the help of the team.
Oyo charged the volunteers to work hard to change the negative narratives – complaints of insecurity among other negative perceptions about Calabar South.
He presented politics as the solution and advised the youths to intentionally elect only worthy individuals into positions of power.
