JustJohn FC are gearing up to compete in the Nationwide League Two organised by the Nigeria Football Federation, the club’s founder Johnson Oyeleye stated at the club’s press briefing in Ogun State, where players and management staff were unveiled.
Oyeleye maintained that with adequate support, the club was poised to perform strongly and achieve success on the field.
“It is a club built from the ground up. We started by scouting talents among regular street footballers in the Sango-Otta neighbourhood. Recognising their raw potential, we brought them together and formed a club aligned with our vision and passion for football.
“We are determined not to falter. We are ready to overcome the challenges that most new clubs face. Our commitment is to elevate these young talents to new heights,” Oyeleye said.

“Many football enthusiasts across the country are rooting for our success. We are fully prepared to endure the rigours of reaching the top league, and that’s our promise with this new team,” he added.
Also speaking, the co-chairman of the club, Justus Oyeleye, noted that besides nurturing young talents into future superstars, which he highlighted as their primary goal, there were additional incentives in place to motivate the players.
“We offer a comprehensive package of incentives for our players. Alongside maximising their potential through training, supervision and management support, and winning matches to ascend to the Nigeria national league, we also provide opportunities for international exposure to advance their football careers.
“We facilitate interactions with international footballers and networks to pave the way for a promising future.”
With established connections abroad, we can arrange trials and potential engagements for selected, disciplined players with foreign clubs,” Oyeleye added.
