Supporters Club Member Hails Finidi’s Appointment As Technical Manager
The Management of Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt signing Finidi George as technical manager of the club is still receiving praises. The latest came from Sharon Amaka Paul, member of the supporters and basketball player.
Paul is one of Rivers United Supporters Club strong members; she said Finidi heading the technical crew of the club is a welcome development.
She made commendation in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt at the weekend; saying that Finidi made remarkable mark with Enyimba, saying that she has no doubt that he will duplicate same.
“Honestly I am particularly excited that Finidi George is here with us as technical manager. I have so much “Confidence that he will deliver because he made a remarkable mark when he was with Enyimba, besides that Finidi is well experienced following the fact that he played both local, national and internationally. Apart from that he has also coached local and foreign clubs”.
Paul further use the forum to thank the Rivers State Governor Sir Siminialayi Fubara, for motivating Rivers athletes, including the N20m given to the supports club, this is a demonstration that the Governor truly is s sports promoter and lover.
