Rivers Elders Commiserate With Wigwe’s Family
The leadership and members of Rivers Elders and Leaders Forum have expressed their condolence to the Wigwe’s family over the death of their son, Herbert Wigwe, who died alongside his wife and son in a ghastly helicopter crash the United Stats fort night ago.
In a condolence message signed by the Acting Chairman of the group, Sir Gabriel Toby and addressed to the father of the deceased, Shingle Wigwe, the elders said the death of Wigwe came as a rude shock to them.
In their words,” it’s our deep regret on the passing away of your son Herbert Wigwe and family in an helicopter crash in the United States. The tragic news of his death came to us as a huge shock”.
Urging him to be strong, they described the death Herbert “as a heavy cross to bear “, considering his role in the family, state and nation at large.
They added,” it is indeed painful to keep abreast with the reality of his demise in view of his numerous achievements within his short stay on earth.”
The body counselled the family to be consoled by the fact that the late banker and businessman lived a good and exemplary Christian life here on earth, and is resting in God’s bossom.
“It is our prayer that God Almighty will grant him eternal repose and give us alive the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss” they further declared.
