Group Advises Ogoni Youths On Peaceful Yuletide
Youths in Ogoni land have been advised to maintain peace in their respective communities during the yuletide and to ensure that there is no record of insecurity, criminality or violence during this year’s celebration.
The BOT chairman of Ken Saro Wiwa Surveillance Ltd, Mr. Bright Nwinyodee, gave the advice in a statement made available to journalists ahead of this year’s Christmas festivities in Ogoni land.
Mr. Nwinyodee disclosed that the Ken Saro Wiwa Surveillance Ltd will not be deterred in her fight against all forms of criminality, especially kidnapping, in ogoni land and other parts of the Niger Delta region in general.
He said as a corporate entity, no amount of threat or intimation from politicians in ogoni land will discourage the company from assisting security agencies in the fight against criminality in Ogoni land.
Mr Nwinyodee reiterated the commitment of his company to assisting security agencies in the security of lives and property during and after the yuletide.
He however called on youths in the area to always report suspicious criminal activities and individuals in their domains to security agencies in the area and wished all and sundry a blissful Christmas celebration.
