AFL: Finidi Optimistic Of Beating Wydad In Casablanca
The Head Coach of Nigerian league champions, Enyimba International, Finidi George has expressed confidence in the ability of his players to overturn the 0-1 first leg result against Wydad in the return fixture in Casablanca.
The Moroccan giants defeated the People’s Elephants by a lone goal in the first leg of the African Football League.
Yahya Jabrane netted the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
While speaking about the game, Finidi admitted that not converting their chances cost them the game.
“For you to win games, you have to score and take your chances.
“That didn’t happen for us today (Sunday), I think. The next couple of days, we have another game against the same team, so we will try and make sure we rectify that as quickly as possible”, he stated.
