Monarch Bags Leadership Award

The Eze Oha Evo III, Eze Leslie Nyebuchi Eke, Eze Gbakagbaka, has bagged the “Generational Leadership Award”, “The Senior Fellowship”, of the Association of Leaders and Policy Professionals (SFALPP) over his exceptional leadership style.
Chairman of the association, Prof Nwachukwu Ololube, made the remarks when he presented the award to the monarch at his palace in Woji, Obio Akpor Local Government Area, recently.
Ololube said the Evo King has over the years proven his worth in philanthropy and peaceful disposition in his Kingdom and beyond.
According to him, leadership ought to be woven around peace and harmony and nothing less.
He said Eze Eke was spotted due to his special leadership style which, he said, has placed his footprints on the sands of time.
The award, he said, has been received only by the Eze Oha Evo and Eze Ekpeye Lobo III.
For other monarchs in the State, he urged them to do more in the promotion of peace and tranquility in their kingdoms in order to usher in meaningful development.
“This award is for more action. We want him to do more and not to relent. To whom much is given, much is expected”, he said.
In his response, the Eze Oha Evo reassured the group of doing all within his reach in an attempt to maintain peaceful co-existence in his domain, and beyond.
He said he had known the leader of the association to be a man of impeccable character, hence, the decision to work with them in the pursuit of untainted leadership.
The royal father noted that since peace was part of a leader’s target for his people, he will ensure that such was not compromised or sacrificed for cheap gains.
