EFCC Nabs 34 ‘Yahoo boys’ In Delta
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 34 suspected internet fraudsters, popularly called ‘Yahoo boys’ in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The anti-graft agency said the suspects were nabbed in a sting operation.
While confirming the arrest in a statement on its Twitter handle, midweek, EFCC said the suspects would be arraigned after completion of the investigation.
It gave names of the suspects as Ese Collins, Benjamin A. Ifeanyi, Akparoboke Oghenero, Uti Jerry, Otega John, Joshua Broka, Jethro Saapila, and Goodluck Ottwowatiohwo.
Others are: Adilike Precious, Uvbierimi Raphael, Oyadan Clinton, Isusu Chukwuemeka, Esajini Fidelis, Monday Justice, Godwin Micheal, Osagie Igbe Uwa, Fidelis Goodluck, Emmanuel Jeremiah, Omokoro Omonefe, Emakpor Efetobore, Atunu Ewomaghea, and Kingsley Onwudegiru.
Also arrested were Esegbue Stephen, Ewomazino Odidi, Ishaka Samson, Chukwuyem Marven, Jephthah Eromosele, Ese Ozumu, Adelike Ifakachukwu, Osadolor Louis, Oghenemharho Prosper, Onoyeyan Daniel, Clement Ogiaide and Peter Ekepoburu.
