Proprietors Call For Improved Education Sector
The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools has emphasised the need for a better and quality education sector.
Speaking at a virtual meeting, National President, NAPPS, Mr Yomi Otubela, revealed that the 2022 annual NAPPS International Conference and Exhibition was titled, “ Revamping Africa’s education for sustainable development: Private education perspective,” would discuss and proffer suggestions to the development of education.
”It will provide an avenue for the association to host a flood of participants, comprising school proprietors from across different states of Nigeria and outside the country with the participation of invited parents, private/public school teachers, government dignitaries, multinational organisations, foreign partners, exhibitors, and various stakeholders.
“The event will hold between November 29th and 1st of December, 2022 at the JOGOR CENTRE 1, off Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State,” he said.
He added that the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo would deliver the keynote address, while the Governor of Oyo state, Mr Seyi Makinde would be the Special Guest of honour/host Governor.
“NAPPS International Conference and Exhibition will feature various programmes of interest such as a Master Class programme for school owners, teachers and professionals in the education sector, public lectures from erudite speakers, the exhibition of products and services from local to multinational companies, award ceremonies for distinguished members of the society and the association, policy decisions to impact education positively.
“Distinguished and eminent personalities from the political space, academics, and consulting, have been invited to grace the event as it promises to be refreshing and rewarding, “ he said.
