APM Governorship Candidate Hails Wike Over Recovered Aircraft
The governorship candidate of Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Rivers State, Prince Amezhinim Atuma has commended Governor Nyesom Wike, as he discovered and brought back Legacy Jet 600 owned by the state government.
He further applauded him over the people-oriented projects carried out by his administration, saying that the projects are exceptional.
Atuma made the commendation while fielding questions from journalists in Port Harcourt, recently.
The Legacy Jet 600 owned by Rivers State Government was purchased by the administration of Dr. Peter Odili and was abandoned in Germany by the administration of Chibike Rotimi Amaechi.
According to him, there is nothing wrong to commend when an administration has done well.
“I am quite excited about the recovery of the Jet which was flown back to the State. To me, this is a huge achievement. Our collective resources would have been wasted in Germany. I also commend Governor Wike’s proactive and people-oriented leadership and decentralization of Rivers State University (RSU) Campuses. In fact, I can say that he is currently the best Governor Rivers State has produced so far.
Honestly, to me, there is nothing wrong to commend an administration that is doing well. Politics is not about criticism only. We commend and we criticise. The game of politics should not be played with bitterness”, Atuma said.
However, he explained that his party is leaving no stone unturned to win the forthcoming general elections come 2023.
“Our party, APM is prepared to win the governorship election because our mission is to industrialise the State and create direct and indirect employment for our youths. APM will establish one industry in every local government area in the State. So, I urge everybody to vote APM”, he stated.
