FLP’s Empowerment Initiative Excites Dep Governor’s Wife
Wife of the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr Mina Ikuru, has commended Forever Living Products (FLP) Nigeria Limited for its efforts at empowering Nigerians and providing alternative channels for creating wealth and gaining financial freedom.
Dr Ikuru said this over the weekend during a special birthday party organised by her team members in the FLP Network Marketing scheme to mark her birthday in Port Harcourt.
She noted that “economic variables in the country are not stable and new jobs are not forthcoming,” but through FLP’s unique product distribution and network marketing strategies, Nigerians have been availed alternatives to better living and economic self-reliance”.
Observing that the FLP business shares the same goals with the Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI) of the wife of the State Governor, Dame Judith Amaechi’s, which has been working assiduously to empower Rivers women, Dr Ikuru stated that her passion for the business is anchored on her conviction that the business provides a complimentary value to the efforts of government in alleviating poverty and providing jobs for the teeming unemployed youths.
The Deputy Governor’s wife pointed out that the simplicity of the business is demonstrated by individuals growing their own wealth by just buying, using and distributing normal day-to-day products in their personal lives, adding that the benefits of the business includes a car ownership plan and all-expenses paid overseas tours, among others.
Speaking, one of the awardees, Hajia Zainab Ahmed, a civil servant with one of the federal ministries, who was awarded a 32″ Samsung plasma LCD television and an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai, expressed gladness for emerging one of the winners of the raffle draw after becoming a manager just after a month on the programme, calling on everyone especially those who are still skeptical to the FLP initiative to come aboard.
Also speaking, Mr. Israel Sunday, a radio broadcaster, declared that the FLP business is real and everyone should key in into the opportunities it has provided for several people, pointing out that “for improved health, economic wellbeing and wealth creation I urge those who are still out there to come and join us”.
