Seven Ships With PMS, Others Berth At Eastern Ports, Today
The Management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says a total of seven ships laden with different cargoes will arrive three Eastern Ports, today.
The three Eastern Ports are Rivers Port Complex, Calabar and Warri Port, all located in South-South Nigeria.
This was contained in NPA’s weekly Shipping Position published by the Authority and copy made available to newsmen.
The Publication said the ships would arrive at different berths and terminals to discharge its cargoes.
It gave the names of the vessels for Rivers Port Complex as Bold Mariner, MSC Wave .F and Cresity.
Others include: Ozochukwu, African Magnila, and St ZeeZee for Warri Port, while Rising Sun would Berth at Calabar Port.
The Authority gave the names of the shipping Agents for Rivers Port as Amco Logistics, Mediterranean and Jfdor
Agents for Warri and Calabar Ports are Admiral, Life Flour Mills Limited, and Peak Shipping, while Katrina Shipping is for Calabar Port.
The statement added that the seven ships are laden with Premium Motor Spirits (PMS), Crude oil, and, Bulk Wheat
Other Cargos in the ships include Bulk Sait, Containers and wheat respectively.
The Magazine noted that the arrival of the ships means a boost to the socio- economic activities in Port Harcourt, Warri , Calabar and its environs, and hence an increase in trade and commerce in the South-South region.
