Be Grateful To God, Banigo Urges Christians

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has saids Christians must be grateful to the Almighty God for giving us the Grace to be part of His kingdom.
Banigo stated this during the 2021 Christmas Carol organised by the Office of the Deputy Governor, at the Government House in Port Harcourt, last Friday.
She said, “if not for His Grace, we would not have made it, because we have no power or abilities of our own”, stressing that “we really need to thank Him, for His mercies”.
The deputy governor, who described the love of God as steadfast, noted that “He will soon come, the King that reigns forever; whose kingdom has no end”.
In his sermon, which centred on the goodwill of God towards men, drawn from Luke 2:11-14, the Presiding Bishop of the Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach Ministries, Bishop Victor Uzosike, said goodwill was about an attitude of kindness, friendliness and benevolence towards people.
He stressed that “we must purge our hearts of offences and take responsibility to reach out to others even when we are offended”.
