Rivers Govt Names Uchendu BIRS Member, Approves Ogbumnuabali Road Dualisation
The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mr Ossaowa Andrew Uchendu as member of the Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue Service (RSBIRS).
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, yesterday, said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the dualisation of Ogbumnuabali Road in the state capital.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, last Wednesday, indicated that the project, which is to commence immediately, would consolidate the urban renewal programme of the present administration.
“Government hereby warns that the full wrath of the law will be visited on anyone who dares to disrupt the commencement of this well intentioned project,” the statement added.
