Elekahia Monarch Drums Support For Wike

The Amangada of Rebisi and the Paramount Ruler of Elekahia Community in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Eze Anthony Worlu Akarolo has called on the people and residents of the community to sustain their support to Rivers State government led by Chief Nyesom Wike.
Speaking during a reception to celebrate the elevation of Elekahia chieftaincy stool to second class by Governor Wike, he said the present administration in the state has a high standard of leadership that should be emulated by all.
He said that his elevation to second class has strengthened him to continue to put his best and do more for the people.
Akarolo, who thanked the Port Harcourt City Council of traditional rulers, vowed to ensure transparency and people-oriented leadership as well as the peace, harmony and unity of the community.
Also speaking, the immediate past Director of the National Orientation Agency in the state, Mr Oliver Wolugbom said the elevation of the Elekahia chieftaincy stool was long overdue, adding that the stool is one of the ancient stools in the state.
He also said that the development will help to strengthen the traditional institution in Rebisi Kingdom and bring about growth and development in the area.
