In a statement released by the spokesman of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, the command admonished the retirees to make themselves available at the 10 area commands nearest to them.
Omoni said to enroll in the NHIS platform, the affected officers were required to come with the following documents: Letter of retirement and Letter of Identification or ID Card.
The spokesman added that the Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday enjoined all retired Police officers to embrace the magnanimity of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu and his resolve to ensure that no retired police officer irrespective of rank is left out or denied the benefits as covered by the Police Health Maintenance Organisation (Police– HMO) code 073.
