Egi OSPAC Loses Member
The Egi Command of the ONELGA Secretary and Peace Advisory Committee (OSPAC), has confirmed the gruesome killing of one of its men, Humphrey Ikoro by another OSPAC member, Abbey Chinoye Onuogba.
The Tide learnt that late Humphrey Ikoro was shot dead by Onuogba also a member of the security outfit on the 2nd of February, 2021.
Onuogba has since been arrested by the police and is undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
Secretary of the Egi Command of OSPAC, Mr Promise Agwu told The Tide via a telephone interview that the suspected murderer was their team leader at the Erema Sector of the command.
According to him, Onuogba was put in cell when he threatened to kill Mr Promise Agwu.
The Investigating Police Officer (IPO) of the murder case, one Inspector David told The Tide through a telephone interview that the suspect who is in cell at the State CID and will be charged to court once investigation is concluded.
Meanwhile, the younger brother of the deceased, Mr Ikoro Justice said his late brother left two stressing that since his death, there is nobody to take care of his children.
He stressed the need for justice to be done on the matter.
